The Knitter magazine, Issue 29, leads to....

The Mason Dixon Knitting Notebook article, which included.....

A photo of a fair isle dress by Misa Erder - a book jacket designer, who I googled....

which led me to her blog Craftivore - where you see all her craftiness - knitting, quilting and other interesting aspects of her craft life...

and with discreet poking around, I found this link to her "Owl and the Pussycat Dress" which led me to find out that...

she's Craftivore on Ravelry.

This is my way of procrastinating - I still haven't started the neckline of my Warm Lindisfarne.......ok, it's now or never - update soon!

    Hey there! A friend (odacier) pointed your post out to me, thank you for the shout out, it's so kind. I, in turn, tracked you down on Ravelry through your gorgeous Lindisfarne project and realized we're already friends there. The internet is awesome sometimes.

Advent Knit Challenge - Finale

Happy New Year!  I really fell out of communication here and on youtube with my 2022 Advent Knit challenge, didn’t I? Well, here are the 3 videos that detail what I had planned, how I progressed and while I didn’t finish as per the schedule I’d set myself….it is finished and I’m happy! This first video details the plan…..and also has updates on my sock knitting. This video was my week 1 update….and then, well, things all got complicated and I disappeared until well, right now! February 17, 2023! Yes, I’ve finished the gorgeousWonderland Shawl by Chloe Thurlow! It’s such an effective design - easy intarsia blocks broken up with a horizontal line…..and finished off with vertical crochet or embroidered lines for that tartan look!
