A TURTLENECK!

I used to love turtleneck sweaters.......but as I've gotten older, the turtleneck sweater and I have parted company -- except for one or two I keep on hand for those really cold days (LIKE TODAY).....when I'm out shoveling, or snow blowing, or feeding the birds.........then I remember just why I loved turtlenecks.

    Anne- It says I'm an Argyle, which I think would be more appropriate for a person of Scottish heritage.

    Once you get on those blogthings, it's hard to stop.

    I can't stand tight turtlenecks but then again, not really cold here.

    Drat... I did so want to be a turtle neck... chic, cosmopolitan, etc.
    Alas, I am an argyle. I don't even like argyles!

    I'm an argyle too. The first part is sooo not me, but the second part describes me pretty well (determined, not wasteful) :)

Advent Knit Challenge - Finale

Happy New Year!  I really fell out of communication here and on youtube with my 2022 Advent Knit challenge, didn’t I? Well, here are the 3 videos that detail what I had planned, how I progressed and while I didn’t finish as per the schedule I’d set myself….it is finished and I’m happy! This first video details the plan…..and also has updates on my sock knitting. This video was my week 1 update….and then, well, things all got complicated and I disappeared until well, right now! February 17, 2023! Yes, I’ve finished the gorgeousWonderland Shawl by Chloe Thurlow! It’s such an effective design - easy intarsia blocks broken up with a horizontal line…..and finished off with vertical crochet or embroidered lines for that tartan look!
